Investment Criteria

Strategiks is looking to make a control investment in a mid-market Canadian company with strong long-term growth potential. We are industry agnostic but look for certain characteristics in the verticals and companies considered for investment.

Industry
Characteristics

  • Growing industry large enough to support multiple mid-market companies

  • Not subject to rapid technological change

  • Low seasonality

  • Easy to understand

  • Minimal regulatory overhead

  • B2B (at least in large part)

Company
Characteristics

  • Minimum $750k EBITDA with at least 15% margins

  • Track record of positive and stable cashflows

  • Significant portion of revenue is recurring or from repeat customers

  • Low customer concentration

  • Long-term employees in key operational roles
